Auto-start CDROM must be disabled to prevent making 'coasters'. Please instruct how to disable them in Windows 2000.

Hi Tomo

Nero gives the option to leave auto start on or off, depends on the software it seems!

Nero is a good piece of software for VCD; However, when are they going to support Menu driven VCD? SVCD is fine, but menu driven VCD is more important. I would like to have Nero do this over SVCD any day. 5.0 comes out and it supports SVCD, big deal! XVCD is the same. I've been using Nero 4.085 to do XVCD already, resolution wise is about the same as SVCD. When Nero supports menus, that'll be the day i'll be excited by the announcement.

I found the answers and much more at 'http://www.cdrinfo.com/' under the heading 'Whats Hot:', titled 'CDR And Win2k Tips'. This is usefull info for people who have upgraded to Windows 2000.
