-- Anonymous, May 03, 2000
Hey Dougal......you keep eating Marmite and we are all over.....god I hate the taste of that stuff. ;0)
-- Anonymous, May 03, 2000
It can't have escaped your notice Dougal that we are unbeaten since you started this diet - so you'll have to keep it going now ...

You evil f****rs!!Funny though ;)

ITK - Are you giving me an ultimatum? If so, it has to be the Marmite. Jonno - Argh! I hadn't thought of that. Have 500 cals left. Shall I go for a beer or shall I have some rice and spinach when I get indoors?
-- Anonymous, May 03, 2000
Forget the spinach........have the rice and half a beer.....then wait half an hour, bend over and pebble dash the fireplace........I'm deeply hurt that you would put marmite above my undying love for you!

Ken if you were a bird I'd marry ya....you've got a wicked sense of humour...something that can't be said for most women :)))
-- Anonymous, May 03, 2000
Talking of female humour, does anyone see anything funny at all in Smack the Pony? Gavin, I have a fine pair of wits.
-- Anonymous, May 03, 2000
ITK,Nothing funny at all - I thought it was just because I'm a woman and it's boys humour but obviously I was wrong!!! (;o)
-- Anonymous, May 03, 2000
Hey Yelli.....it was Dougal who posted the following, not me:>>>>>Talking of female humour, does anyone see anything funny at all in Smack the Pony? Gavin, I have a fine pair of wits.<<<<<<
Not seen the programme so don't know, but when I catch an edition I will let you know.

>>breakfats 7.00 am .. sugar puffs <<
That's what the smell in the netty is then.

Keep it up Dougal - we're all behind you bonny lass.
Just to make you feel better - I stayed in East Shaftoe Hall (aye - Bobby Shaftoe's place) an absolutely fantastic bb on the farm run by Charlotte and David Robson near Belsay. The guest part is in the 13th century keep
I recommend it to all exiles.
Breakfast: bacon, eggs, sausage(all local) and STOTTIE CAKES. I put on 3 pounds in 3 days.
I was at the Coventry game - didn't see you there - so we won.
So if you see me, just walk on by. Make believe.....
-- Anonymous, May 04, 2000
Has anyone else noticed if you eat sugar puffs that when you gan to the netty it smells of them ? :-) Sorry to be crude but that kind of works the same as a lass can tell what you had for your lunch if she .... Ok ok im off , sorry .
-- Anonymous, May 04, 2000
It took me until I was 17 before I even mentioned that to anyone, and when I did it was a real weight off when I saw the nodding heads. (sort of eluded to the smell in the last posting - couldn't type more as the stench of the asparagus was starting to come through).
>>as a lass can tell what you had for your lunch << reminds me of the joke with the punchline - "have you ever tried opening up a warm cheese and onion pastie?"

All the talk of bacon butties etc was making me hungry but the latest stuff has put me firmly off what I intended having for lunch - baked tuna and salad ((-:I know you are all dying to hear whether I opted for beer or rice and spinach. Well, I had a glass of red wine and some rice. Today, I went to the gym and have so far eaten Ryvita and marmite. The dilemma is - there are some free drinks and nibbles this evening at a really nice Indian restaurant in the City. Should I stay well away? Should I go and risk my willpower not being able to hold up to chili prawns and white wine?

Which restaraunt Dougs , Bengali clipper , Schimmler Pinks ? Ill come and spy on your intake .. i bet yer by 9.00 youll be drinking kingfisher and having a chicken madras with nann . That is commiting suicide gannin to an indian when ur on a diet , its like taking a smoker to Wills' when theyre trying to pack in . Good luck . Btw , lasses can definitely tell when youve ben for a curry , but ill leave the reason why to ones imagiantion :-))
