help for Dave

greenspun.com : LUSENET : New England Motocross Racing : One Thread

I know Dave is doing a great job, and it is very hard to work a full time job and keep up with the page. I know everyone is excited to have results.... so if a few good people would like to help out, we can make the results happen. This is an idea.. I go to most of the races for NESC, I could write down the top 10 riders for the final moto and post them on here to be viewed, but i can't do all the classes. If a few people were willing to each write down 1 or 2 classes and post them each week, we would then have the results and this would help Dave out as he tries to get NESC to work with him. This page has been very good this year, so with a little team work it would be a "Results kinda page" If one of us wasn't going to make a race we could notify another to get them for us. Anyone interested ? I can do the 50cc class and another class...

I can do a couple but I don't get to all the races so that isn't a great help. I'll call Dave, I can't understand the hold-up of getting the results from NESC. I mean, it benefits everyone, it gives them some positive publicity, and not all racers can stay all day to see the results posted. Maybe they don't understand what an asset they have here. Who knows?

I think this is a pretty good idea. But the real issue is with the NESC. They cant even score properly, never mind get the results to us. They screw up the scoring every week, especially Middleboro. Anyways, that seems like a good idea, but a lot of work for such an easy task..

Im gonna try taking some pictures with my digital camera of the result posts this weekend at central village. Ill either email them to dave to put up or ill post a link to where i can post them. I did this for the january ultracross and they came out pretty good.
