Now that I have a good working cart, I need an inexpensive merchant account. Someone the validate the credit card information.

BUT I NEED A SERVICE THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO USE S-MART AND NOT HAVE TO USE THEIR SHOPPING CART.

I can capture all necessary info with S-Mart and could validate the info later if necessary, don't necessarily need real-time now. Most of my S-mart data bases and categories are already set-up.

Does anyone have any suggestions or leads to follow.

Ron, What I did was to go to my bank. I think the setup fee was about $60 and maybe $4 a month plus a percent. This was for Master Card and Visa. You get an 800 number to verify card numbers and you have to do the work yourself but it is the most inexspensive way to go. Some of these places on the net want $40 to $60 dollars plus a larger percent then the bank to run this for you. Being a small store I can't afford such a service. Check it out and go from there.

We have a complete new version of the store scripts that will have gateway interfaces built in for Authozize net and some other online real time payment systems. This version also has image directory browsing, image uploading and many new features. It it almost a complete rewrite of the original s-mart. This version should be released very soon.
