Egyptian paper says missile causes EgyptAir crash

Report: Washington admits, missile causes EgyptAir crash

Al-Ahali newspaper states that Egypt and the United States agreed to settle the case of last years crash of the EgyptAir flight 909, without involving the press. The United States along with Boeing agreed to produce false evidence for the cause of the crash to avoid any legal prosecution .

- April 27, 2000, 02:04 PM CAIRO (AROL) - Less than a year after the crash of EgyptAir Flight 990 in October 1999, unvieled infromation states that: The jet was crashed deliberately, by an American missile hit the plane down into the sea less than an hour after taking off from New York to Cairo, Egyptian daily reported. The popular opposition newspaper, Al-Ahali, has reported a different story. The paper states that Egypt and the United States agreed to settle the case of last years crash of the EgyptAir flight 909, without involving the press.

The paper added that the two countries agreed on the US paying off compensations of damages caused by the crash after disclosing the causes behind the mystery of the wreck.

The EgyptAir Boeing 767 plunged into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Massachusetts on the 31 October last year. All 217 people aboard were killed.

A reporter of the paper in Washington quoted an anonymous source saying that Egyptian authorities obtained evidence that unveils the ambiguity of the EgyptAir crash. The paper said the crash was caused by a collision with a US missile after leaving New York heading to Cairo.

Concrete evidence came after comprehensive and intensive investigations. Egypt was able to prove to all parties involved the validity of the evidence it came across.

In a meeting with the Egyptian representatives, US administration admits charges, Al-Ahali reported.

A liable source told Al-Ahli that there was a secret pact between the two sides on a settlement without involving the press to avoid criticism of the US from the world community.

The pact also included compensating the graved families and the cost of the crashed plane.

Therefore, Al-Ahali added, the US along with Boeing agreed to produce false evidence for the cause of the crash to avoid any legal prosecution .

Al-Ahali claimed that most documentations were fabricated. The US theory says the cause of the tragedy is that one of the pilots deliberately crashed the plane by attempting suicide. And the US agents introduced videotapes showing the negligence of Egyptian pilots. The paper added, lastly an Egyptian pilot was encouraged to request political asylum in England promising him security and financial support.

Al-Ahali described the EgyptAir pilot, Hamdi Hanafi Taha, who claimed to possess information about the fatal crash last February seeking political asylum in Britain, was a cover up scheme. Adding that the story was an attempt by Western intelligence agencies to pressure Egypt to stop any further investigations into the disaster.

In order to complete the Egypt-US secret deal, the paper reported that the US and England had accepted all of Egypts desire to deny the pilot political asylum and prepare to send him back to Egypt.

The liable source of Al-Ahli, confirmed that the US missile caused the explosion of the plane immediately after its delayed departure from New York.

The paper speculated that the JFK Airport watchtower failed to report to the US Navy base, where the alleged missile was launched, that there has been a delay in the planes take off.

Al-Ahli has reported earlier this year that a Jordanian pilot was excluded from the witnesses list. At that time, the pilot claimed that he allegedly witnessed a flame close to his plane while flying over the coast of Massachusetts, in the same zone and time when the EgyptAir crashed, which he speculated that the flame may have been a missile that caused the Egyptian plane to go down in the sea.

Passed this up a couple of time. I have a hard time with "Washington admits" part. I would call this a shaky post.

My Dear Mr. Thompson,

Sir... I cannot call your post a "Shakey" post! I did not see the missile. I did not fly on the plane ( now that would be a Shakey trip, I will admit).

So please, I implore you. In the future use another similie...Such as a "Kennie Decker" rollacoaster! Or a "Y2K Pro" stumble bum...Even a "Feathering one engine" Hawk! Anything; but old Shakey! I have enough problems with the Polly bugs..... We seem to have a lot of the little chirping critters cropping up, thumping their pigeon breasts and singing "Happy Days are here again". The countryside is full of the little creeps at the moment you know LOL.

"As for me...I shall finish the Game"!

Boy, I don't believe any of this. Too far fetched for me.

Mr. Shakey Seems you took this as affront to you. I could have said the this was a questionable post. But then Mr. Questionable would probably have complained. I sure did not have you in mind when I posted it.

Regards

Martin

"Questionable," here. Mr. Martin you take such liberties with our handles!! And Mr. Shakey, how quick you are with your humourous afront. Next we'll have "Touchy" showing-up!!

On a serious note, I read the article with skepticism. The DFDR (unless it has been switched), simply does not support the missile theory.

I read somewhere where a psychic determined that the co-pilot actually had some sort of stroke and lost control of his own motor functions and probably fell on the controls. The psychic said it was definitely NOT a suicide or planned murder.

In my mind, I am certain that the downing of this plane was deliberate. There are probably several reasons why certain groups would not want Egypt to become any stronger by having dozens of military officers trained in Apache attack helicopters. I haven't done a lot of research on this, but I have found some evidence of parties that appear to be motivated to plan such an attack...

Three more militants hanged in Egypt

Three more members of Egypt's largest militant group, Gamaa't al-Islamiya, have been hanged in Cairo.

They were convicted of killing a police officer and six policemen four years ago.

Four militants were hanged at the same prison earlier this week for a series of armed attacks.

Gamaa't al-Islamiya has been waging an armed campaign to create an Islamic state in Egypt since 1992.

More than one-hundred militants have been sentenced to death by military courts and about sixty have been executed.

More than one-thousand people have been killed in the conflict.

Saudi money aiding bin Laden Businessmen are financing front groups

WASHINGTON -- More than a year after the U.S. embassy bombings in East Africa, prominent businessmen in Saudi Arabia continue to transfer tens of millions of dollars to bank accounts linked to indicted terrorist Osama bin Laden, senior U.S. intelligence officials told USA TODAY.

The money transfers, which began more than five years ago, have been used to finance several terrorist acts by bin Laden, including the attempted assassination in 1995 of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Ethiopia, the officials said.

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is expected to raise the issue with Prince Sultan, the Saudi defense minister, during his visit to Washington next week. Saudi Arabia, the main U.S. ally in the Persian Gulf, has pledged to fight terrorism.

According to a Saudi government audit acquired by U.S. intelligence, five of Saudi Arabia's top businessmen ordered the National Commercial Bank (NCB), the kingdom's largest, to transfer personal funds, along with $3 million diverted from a Saudi pension fund, to New York and London banks.

The money was deposited into the accounts of Islamic charities, including Islamic Relief and Blessed Relief, that serve as fronts for bin Laden.

The businessmen, who are worth more than $5 billion, are paying bin Laden "protection money" to stave off attacks on their businesses in Saudi Arabia, intelligence officials said. Bin Laden, whose family runs the largest Saudi construction firm, has called for the overthrow of the Saudi government.

The money transfers were discovered in April after the royal family ordered an audit of NCB and its founder and former chairman, Khalid bin Mahfouz, U.S. officials say. Mahfouz is now under "house arrest" at a military hospital in the Saudi city of Taif, intelligence officials said.

His successor, Mohammad Hussein al-Amoudi, also heads the Capitol Trust Bank in New York and London, which U.S. and British officials are investigating for allegedly transferring money to bin Laden. Amoudi's Washington lawyer, Vernon Jordan, could not be reached for comment.

Mahfouz's son, Abdul Rahman Mahfouz, is on the board of Blessed Relief in Sudan. Suspects in the Mubarak attack are linked to the charity.

Bin Laden faces U.S. criminal charges for allegedly masterminding the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed 224 people. Bin Laden, who is in Afghanistan, denies the charges.

Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar bin Sultan declined to comment on the reports.

*****

Bin Laden and the Islamic terrorists are puppets for the New World Order agenda by helping Britain, the United States, and Saudi Arabia to eliminate their enemies. Egypt happens to be one of those enemies, and they represent a serious economic threat.

The United States would do a lot to help Saudi Arabia, but whether or not the U.S. was directly involved in this incident is hard to know. They immediately covered up as much as they could of some of the suspicious details that had leaked out in the media, for several possible reasons.

In one possible scenario, our airport security was so ineffective that a terrorist managed to get a piece of baggage onto the plane that had a bomb in it. In this case, it would be in the best interest of the government to cover this up to protect the airline industry.

Another possibility is that the Navy was intentionally not notified of the flight, and missile testing was intentionally scheduled at that time in such a way that if it was discovered to be the cause, it would still appear to have been an accident. Again, I can imagine that the U.S. would take such action if it was of great importance to our ally and main source of oil, Saudi Arabia.

In either case, there was not enough evidence left to verify either of these suspicions, so using the "suicidal pilot" explanation seems to have lulled the sheeple to sleep, but apparently not the Egyptians, who aren't quite so stupid.

Whatever it was, the disintegration of the aircraft was so complete that there seems to be little evidence available other than voice recorder, and we were given disinformation about its contents. My guess is that we will never learn the truth about this crash, but in my mind it is a dead giveaway because of the large number of Egyptian officers on board.
