McLachan wants no part of Columbine video

Canadian singer Sarah McLachlan and her record company are demanding the immediate removal of one of her songs from the video of the Columbine high school massacre.

I Will Remember You is played during portions of the video, released by Colorado authorities on Wednesday.

In a statement released from her West Vancouver home Thursday, McLachlan said she was horrified to hear the tapes are being sold to the public. She said the thought of adding music to the images is "sick."

I guess copyrright, royalties, and getting permission to use are trivial items to this sheriff's dept.
