greenspun.com : LUSENET : Federal Information and Records Managers Council : One Thread

Attention Records Managers, Archivists and all others concerned about Digital Preservation,

It is my great pleasure to inform you that the Mid Atlantic Archive Imaging Symposium will be occurring on May 16, 2000 in College Park, Maryland and on May 18, 2000 in Richmond, Virginia. This is an extremely popular event and it is necessary for all who receive this invitation to register as quickly as possible because seating is limited to around 150 persons at each location. It will be informative, thought provoking and entertaining for everyone who is concerned with the preservation of digital documents.

This event was held in the Carolina's in February and was very well received. People came to Colombia from as far away as Charleston, South Carolina and Cleveland, Tennessee. I am sure that it will be a day well spent for you and your colleagues.

I am attaching the agenda and directions to each site. You may register via the web at address www.kodak.com/US/en/business/new/index.shtml. However, the web site will not be live until April 24, 2000. You can also call Ellen Moore at 770-277-1088 or Fax 770-277-7266. Ellen can also be reached at ellen.moore@kodak.com. I look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

David Rawlings, Federal Integrated Imaging Manager, CDIA
