I'm interested in your comments/experiences regarding the Tokina autofocus 24-40mm f/2.8 ATX. I have a Nikon F90 and someone is selling me this lens second-hand. I'm interested in a zoom in this range and I haven't found any information or reviews on it at photo.net, photodo, etc.

What's your impression on it? Is it Nikon AF-D (distance) compatible?
