laura, any where on the separator is there another brand name? I assume these are like most other durable goods MW, Sears, and Penny's sells/sold. They don't manufacture the items themselves. For example a washing machine sold by any of them was most likely built by a name-brand appliance manufacturer. There might be slight differences in appearances and options to make it seem "different" but it is basically the appliance manufacturer's machine. I doubt they got very fancy about changing many things on a cream separator. So if you can figure out who actually made it, it might be a great deal easier to find a manual for it. Gerbil

thank you Laura I have the same needs.

Looking for a manual for a Massy-Harris #7 Cream Seperator, original, copy, another manufacturers manual :) as I believe they pretty much all work the same.

The farmer I purchased this from stored it in the barn in 1943 when they got electricity. He hasn't been able to find the manual.

Hi Get Small Farmer's Journal and give the folks there a call, they have LOTS of reprints of all kinds of old farm machinery. I got a cream separator at auction, and then got the manual from the people at Small Farmer's Journal. Bought a #7 mower, and got the manual from Small Farmers. And while you're at it, if you have to subscribe to only one other magazine other than countryside, go Small Farmer's Journal - so much information that all kinds of questions will be answered before you know to ask them!

Just had a thought. See if you can find an historical society, old tractor club or something like that. They may be able to help you. There are lots of old tractor shows coming up, sometimes in conjunction with county fairs. Historical societies also frequently have displays at county fairs. Gerbil
