Canada's largest maker of computer software is in trouble. Corel Corporation says it could run out of cash within the next three months. The Ottawa-based high-tech firm says running out of money is a real possibility if its merger with California-based Inprise isn't completed and Corel can't find another source of funding. A report in a national paper says the company made the disclosure in papers filed in Washington Thursday. Corel lost almost $12 and-a-half million last month and reports the outlook for the next six months isn't any better. A shareholder vote on the merger is slate for mid-July.
