Gas Still High In Las Vegas

I was up in Las Vegas the other day and noticed that gasoline is still high. $1.79/1.89/1.99. It's slowly coming down in northern AZ. Got unleaded (87 Octane) for $1.59 yesterday. Kingman was $1.53 for unleaded/87. Still seems higher than in other places. What's it going for in your neighborhood?

Hey Manny,

Are you going to be in your favorite topless club by the Sahara next Friday night (5/05)? You never did tell us what city you live in. I'll look for you in the VIP room. What do you look like, so I can identify you?

The new Citgo that opened up right across the street from the Diamond [whatever] has the low octane going for $1.30 now. I have to say something here, however, about self-serve gas-stations. I buy beer at the local Diamond [whatever], so I'm pretty familiar with the folks who work there. I stopped by earlier in the week and one of the clerks was totally agitated. I said, "What's wrong, James?" He said, "It's constant stress watching the pumps." I said, "Why are you watching the pumps?" He said, "People are leaving without paying." I said, "I thought one must pay before being served." He said, "Not on the two pumps closest to the store. Earlier a guy pulled up in a VERY expensive car, wife next to him in the front seat. I didn't question him. After $19.00 worth of gas, he drove out without paying."

I suspect that at SOME stations our gas is going up to make up for the loss incurred by those who don't pay.
