GOLD LOSER, I'm starting a new thread because I don't want you to miss this...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

I am not interested in your gold/money.

I am not interested in you "doing" me.

You jerk, I hurried home because I was worried about you (after all, you were suicidal earlier today). The truth is, I worry about everyone involved with Y2k to some extent... but it's late, and I have to get to sleep before I start contemplating suicide!

To conclude this post, I want you to know that I'm not interested in anything you have to say, unless it's "I need help". If that's the case, I'll be happy to see what I can do.

Laura,

You have a heart of gold. Please start a thread for me or I'll jump out of my bedroom window. Oh never mind, I live on the first floor. Help!

Ya sure....Lady Logic

When gold crosses $5000.00 and the system collapes from the greedy politcians, bankers, Wall Street just to name a few you will kiss the ground I walk on because most everyone will be wiped out. Not the end of the world, but close and a lot of innocent people will be hurt along with their precious families.

It's a very sad time in America right now. Our values have shrunk and we are not the same bunch as we were 25 years ago even. If you go through history each and every rose garden economy like we have now was followed by a great financial crisis. The writing is on the wall for all eyes to see, but people will not see the truth because we are manipulated sheep about to be sheared or slaughtered. Right now it looks ugly if you look at the health of our financial system. Gold right now is selling around the world at record demand yet the price goes down. Do you know who and why are doing all they can to keep the lid on gold. Because it threatens all their lying and cheating and thats about to end. Time is getting short. 3 years max. SO THERE................

I tend to disagree with you, Gold Loser. I don't know where you live, or who you hang around with (I don't even know who you are) but people I know have great values. I have friends who are as stable and responsible as the day is long. You're probably not going to believe this, but there's a person on this very board who is one of the most moral, ethical people I've ever met. (*wink, tc.) I'm also going to meet a young man from this board this weekend, who, at 18, has worked hard enough to earn himself a full honors scholarship to ASU. I think you're looking at the world "half empty" instead of "half full", buddy.

When gold crosses $5000.00 and the system collapes from the greedy politcians, bankers, Wall Street

It is those very people who will ensure the system doesn't collapse. Don't you realize they're the ones who stand to gain the most by maintaining the status quo? (Or something relatively close.) If the system collapses, their money isn't going to do them any good either, and they know that. Are you starting to follow me?

Not the end of the world, but close and a lot of innocent people will be hurt along with their precious families.

There are already a lot of innocent people and their families hurting. I invite you to go along with me to south Phoenix and I'll show you sights that will bring tears to your eyes. But, you know what? Those people may be dirt poor, but most of them are happy. They go to work every day, even if their job is menial -- they have someone to love -- they have things to learn -- and some of them even manage to pop open a bottle of wine on occasion! What more can you ask out of life? :o)

If you go through history each and every rose garden economy like we have now was followed by a great financial crisis.

Individuals have financial crisis' every day. So, what else is new.

Gold Loser, I realize you must have a LOT of money invested in gold, or you wouldn't be getting so excited over this. However, you're missing a very important concept here. Think about this: If a majority of people took your advice and took their money out of the bank and bought gold, it would cause the scenario you're describing. If banking collapsed, we'd all be in a world of hurt, even you, because we all depend on each other for our quality of life. You wouldn't really want the economy to come crashing down, would you? If banks collapsed, people would be wiped out. They couldn't drive their trucks, make their house payments, pay their electric bills, etc., and then what would we have? We would have that infamous "8" on the Y2k Likert scale :o) If that happened, you could forget about 90$ of your luxury items (is toilet paper a luxury item? LOL!)

Show a vote of confidence in our future, Gold Loser. Convert half of your gold today. The stock market is rebounding, and I think you're only going to lose more money if you hang tight.

I guess we our not reading the same tea leaves. You seem to be a wonderful person to be associated with and (they) Clintoon and the gang have managed to create a mirage for all eyes to see that isn't there.

The only reason our economy is bright and rosey is the FEDERAL RESERVE has printed and inflated our money supply. We our not in a new era, this has all been done before and each time we meet our demise.

In closing I would like you to tell me you can trust Clinton and we are in a new era and that he was never with that women or never commited perjury and his license to practice law is not being revoked in the state of Arkansas.

GOOD LUCK

P.S. I might be a jerk, but I am an honest jerk.

I'm sorry I called you a jerk. I was tired when I got home last night, and when I'm tired, I'm cranky.

In closing I would like you to tell me you can trust Clinton

No, I don't trust Clinton.

and we are in a new era

No. We're not in a new era.

and that he was never with that women

Of course, he was with that woman!

or never commited perjury

Of course, he did!

and his license to practice law is not being revoked in the state of Arkansas.

Hmmmm, I didn't know about that; but I don't doubt it.

Guess what, Gold Loser? I also believe OJ's guilty and I'm a Republican.

Sorry, Gold Loser, but I don't see what any of that has to do with the price of gold. I think reading about Greenspan and legislation would be the way to go about learning what's going on with the economy.

Personally, I'd rather spend my time learning computer stuff and figuring out how to make this #*$!!^! bread rise.

True, and I agree. This is my project and I'm betting againest the masses. I don't wish something happens, however I won't be in deniel either. Once I start something I can't let go unless I truely believe I'm wrong. I never started this mess if it happens only doing what I believe in for my survival. I think the truth is about to be released soon. Time will tell and keep doing what your doing, I like who you are.

-- GOLD LOSER (goldloser@the.club), April 19, 2000.

Gold Loser, gold has nothing to do with "survival". Po Folks survive. We just have a different life style ( and we laugh a lot too, laughter is free). Perhaps you have enjoyed many of the monetary luxuries, are accustomed to them, think Life "WILL BE HELL", if you have to give up one iota. Get a grip, my experience has been the imagination drives us daft, while the reality is much softer. Quit trying to imagine a scenerio so that you can pre-train and condition yourself. Most likely it won't turn out to be the scenerio you now see flashing, in bright neons, in your minds eye. And by chance if the tables turn, and your lot is cast, there are a whole lot of kind humans, willing to listen and help you laugh.

Truly, a match made in heaven. How sweet. :-)
