Please help - Dazzle DVC, Adaptec, Pioneer DV-F727greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread
I have a pioneer DV-F727 300+1 disc DVD changer and Every time I write a video disc and load it into the player I hear about the first 3 seconds of audio with not video and then, after a click I hear the same 3 seconds of audio again. This continues until I stop the player. I am using a Dazzle DVC USB to capture. I have tried both adaptec easy cd creator 4.0 delux and Nero and I still have the same problem. I don't think it is media because I have tried Memorex R/W, Memorex Silver (80 minute) and TDK Blue and each have exactly the same problem. The DV-F727 is labeled as being able to play VCD and CDR discs.
Any Ideas? Could there be a problem with the Dazzle file? Neither CDR Program gives me any warning about the file. I don't believe that is could be the CD-Writer because I have tried both my Yamahaw 6x4x12 and my Imation 8x20 at 2x and 1x with no improvement.
Thanks in advance.

For reference I am using the Video CD template in the Dazzle capture software (320x240, 29.97)

Does this 3-sec problem occur in other players as well? Does it play with Media Player smoothly in the first place?

Actually, I have a creative Labs DXR2 DVD decoder card and that can play the files with no problem.

The problem could be with your DVD Player...most pioneer play VCDS...but yours? Go to the Internet and check whether your player plays CD_R and CD-RW?
