Title: Neighborhoods Around Cheney Suffer Power Outage

Areas in and around Cheney lost power late Saturday night due to supply problems at Bonneville Power Administration.

Police say power was lost at about 9:30 p.m. in Cheney proper, as well as neighborhoods to the west and south.

About half of the Eastern Washington University campus was without power, police said.

The Cheney city distribution system appeared to be functioning. Bonneville Power crews were working on the outage around 11 p.m.
