i was just wondering how long it took all of you guys like DP, RNA, lisa, and others to become masters. i dont know if this is snail speed, but ive just got my first monster into M4, and the year is 1096. i'd imagine thats pretty slow, i was just wondrin how slow it is compared to everyone else.

I got my first monster INTO the M4 around 1030 or so. I got one THROUGH the M4 in about 1080.

I got the the M4 in 1043 and master at 1046. It was the same monster that got me both. I had played MR1 for quite a long time. On MR1 I can get the master within 3 monsters now, but you learn some tricks after you play for awhile.

I made Master and got my first hall of fame all on the same monster, my Mock named Gonzalez in 1041. I felt that was pretty fast, and give the entire credit to the fact that I avidly studied this message board and it's archives for about 3 weeks before I obtained my copy of MR2. Straight out of the wrapper, the good folks here had me ranching in no time!

I made MAS rank in the year 1057, and Legend Cup in 1058. I've only played one game, and SEVERLY screwed-up in the beginning of my training. (Long lifespan, but no discipline) Gonzalez, the first Mock, was the one to get me to MAS and the first to beat Most. (Yeah, I didn't get to fight Poritoka, so I learned to strategize REALLY quick!)

Still on my first file... Got Chyra, my first Phoenix, into and defeated one of the M4 in I think it was 1042. Jenna, my second Phoenix, finished off the M4 for me in 1056. Other than my Phoenixes, though (and one recently finished Angel [Pixie/Gali]), all my monsters up to when I became a Master were straight off CDs, and I played until my entire ranch was full before I tried the second Phoenix (in other words, the monster that made it was about my 10th monster, and the one that made me master was I think 13th or 14th).

If it makes anyone feel any better, I have one friend who hasn't whacked into A class yet at 1044... and I have another friend at 1060 who hasn't even gotten an invite to a M4 yet...
