Several Questions & Comments...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B's Monster Rancher 2 : One Thread

Hewwo! HEY! My first original post! Woohoo! I'm being more official now!

Okee, several things from Pez Kitty...

1. YAY! I'm a Master!!! Phoenix's are cool.... Jenna pulled 3 of the Big 4 down for me, and my previous Phx, Chyra, had the first one. I'm so happy!!!

2. Alright, PezCat the Questing has located the sheath. I beat up Durahan, got the Double-Edged. Do I need to keep the Sheath in case I want to fight for another sword, or is the sheath just taking up space now?

3. Joker Mask. Is there a specific Kawrea building it's found in?

4. God's Slate. Got it, but how do I use it??? And what's it do?

5. Opinions on: Dragon, Durahan, and Bajarl. Trying to figure out which one I want next (Leaning towards Durahan cuz I like knights), but want input.

Thanks loads guys! : )

The God Slate is used for combining to get an Undine... Unless I'm thinking of something else... oh well.

-- ChunDog (ChunDog@theglobe.com), April 15, 2000.

I think that it is something else... isn't it the Undine Slate that does that? I know you get it when the Hopper digs it up (haven't done it yet tho...)

Thanx to all! : )

the joker mask is in the alter - i think that's the building you're talking about, p.c.

1.)Pez Cat...congrats on getting Master. Phoenix are one of my faves.

2.)You don't need the sheath anymore.

3.) I was drunk and don't remember how I found the Joker Mask. I'd listen to Jack's opinion on it.

4.) God's Slate is useless in the American version. You can sell it at the shop for 50G.

5.) Durahan: My monster that first got me in the Hall of Fame and beat the M4. Dragon: Never tried to raise mine. Still in the freezer. Bajarl: My 3rd monster in HOF. Very cool monster. High in POW.

My personal recommendation on what to raise: Raise your Durahan as long as you can, then combine with your Phoenix for a Garuda. My 2nd monster in the HOF, and by far my best.

2. Thanks again! : )

3. Awright. Will take looksie! Probably send the next beastie (debating amongst a Kato/Dragon, Tiger/Zuum [extremely ugly], or Zuum/Worm at the moment... I like CD spawned monsters!)

4. THAT SUCKS!!! I really dont like that one at all! Can't use God's Slate... GRR! I thought I had something really cool there, too! Why do they gotta do that crap, huh? They friggin' took reviving Aeris outta FF7 too, and that pissed me off! I want FULL translations, dangit! I don't like gettin' ripped off just cuz I'm an American Slob! : (

5. Thanks fer the input!!!
