Centaurs

Just lost to the centaur with my 500 power Durahan I have another monster I am planning on raising first though. What kind of monsters should I use to combine for the centaur(high int,pow,spd,ect.)? I tried using suki suezos for my original ghost but thier stats went from 999 to 135 every time anyone know why? I'd appreciate any help thanks

Answers

When u combine with an item like the spear for centaur or sword for durahan u always seem to get around the same stats. Don't bother using fully trained monsters as you won't see any high stats. You will, however, start with a few more techs which is always nice. I usually just get 2 monsters from the market when i'm getting a special monster off an item.

I have to disagree with Mike on this one. I've combined good monsters for my 'specials' and managed to get passable stats, rather than exceptional ones. What I _did_ get, though, were extra attacks. My centaur started out with five attacks, in fact, and my phoenix had four. My ghost had at least four (possibly five, I don't remember). I'm hoping to go for the Zilla and do the same thing, in fact.
