well, pretty good stats for a newborn twelfth gen monster. things were going well until the last combos thing started to take a turn for the worst. I cut the project short for fear of irreversably damaging the results. in every combo i used plant chips to ensure a long life. though i doubt this one will max its stats even with the long life but i will try to correct whatever went wrong.

as to whom it may concern (all psychology majors out there) me and phantom are two different people that switched our time playing and posting(I think he screwed it up) so i did write a few ost under a false alias but not all. and moogeley im still coming for you.

I am now into final fantasy VII but will now have alot more time to keep this board in line.

HOW!??!!?! 12th gen. Good Grief. with those stats in a newborn, .how in the h*** can you say that it won't max everything out? That pratically an S class monster at birth! How did you get such high stats in a newborn? (other than the 12 gens)

Shouldn't it be project Saurian XII? Sorry couldn't help it. Thats 3165 points in a new born. I wish I could get that... This board is depressing me today...

Why even raise a twelfth generation monster? There is almost no way that you can lose with it. What's the point (other than the incredibly hihg stats)?

-- Eagle Fierce (Eagle1@Citynet.net), January 29, 2000.

That is the point Eagle.

I was just doing the math and I realized that that can't be a true 12th gen. monster. For that would require you to have bred 2048 first gen. monsters. 1012 second gen. monsters, 512 3rd gen. monsters, 256 4th gen. monsters, 128 5th gen. monsters, 64 6th gen. monsters, 32 7th gen. monsters, 16 8th gen. monsters, 8 9th gen. monsters, 4 10th gen. monsters, 2 11th gen. monsters, and 1 12th gen. monster. Say each monster lasts 5 years then this project of yours would take about 20415 years. My conclusion would be that you had one monster that you kept mixing in 1st gens with. It's the only plausible outcome.

yes you are partially correct. I took sixteen zuums and bred them and made one then took eight zuums and bred it and then along a series of eights made it to twelve but if you could figure out the true way of measuring generations then Id be happy to tell you the real one but until that happens he is twelve

-- Zuumsaurian (b_hagstrom@hotmail.com), January 29, 2000.

No, im sure he is not a 12th gen. That would take approximatly 212 days to make a true 12th gen. so stop calling him that. Refer to him with what he actually is.

How did you get your newborn's stats to go up with each gen? starting with a 700+ is no small feat.

Into Final Fantasy VII? Never take Red XIII out of your party! He's cool! Sure, his Limit Breaks aren't the best, but he's well balanced and he's a lion-hyena-wolf thing. And just the fact that he shows some lion in him is enough for me!

My best team: 1st half of the game: Cloud, Red XIII, Aeris

My best team: 2nd half: Cloud, Red XIII, Cid

Combo Team: Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie

Through Till The End Team: Cloud, Tifa, Barret

Not Quite a Clean Slate Team: Cloud, Vincent, Cait Sith

Yes, I do have too much free time, to those who are wondering. It was fun to think of these teams right here and now. It only took about 5 min.

Nanaki (Red XIII) does look strange. To me he look like a cross between a lion and a wolf. You're right about him. His limit breaks aren't the best but he's a solid, dependable character.

The scene when he finds out the truth about his father was cool.

I dunno, something about that newborn doesn't look right. Oh well, it's zuumsaurian, and he usually tells the ..... umm.... truth, yeah.

FF7? I maxed out Cloud's stats. I kept fighting in the undersea plane for "sources." You don't even wanna know how many times I got those master materia. Imagine how many times I'd have to battle to level up "knights of the round" just to get another master summon materia.

Vincent is one of my favorites. I was trying to get his most powerful weapon(cant remember name) to do 9999 damage to all monsters. Its attack power increases for every monster he kills.

Don't mind me, I get a little carried away when people start talking about my favorite games.

Thanks for the info RNA. I was wondering what "Death Penalty" did. The special effect I know of.

Ultima Weapon - Damage based on Cloud's current HP. Limited Moon - Damage based on Red XIII's current MP. Missing Score - Based on the last digit of Barret's HP?

what did some of the other ultimate weapons do (Conformer, Premium Heart, HP shout, etc.)?

-- Dark Phoenix (Arax7@aol.com), January 30, 2000.

Today I have bread my Zuum (all 999) and my Earth Keeper (all 999) and got a Shell Saurian with 903 life, 600 power, 708 def, 340 skill, 867 speed, and 259 int. This is a 2 gen. also!

-- Wheel Gator (MyersDCM@email.msn.com), January 30, 2000.

Tifa's weapon does more damage the higher her limit gauge is. Just give her a counter-attack materia and she'll be doing 9999's. That way, you don't have to use her limit break.
