I'd really suggest resetting to the time before he died, and freezing him so that you can use him to make an even better monster. If you're really dead-set on winning the Legends Cup, try using a Magic Banana. If his loyalty drops by 10, he's just gained an extra week of life, although fighting Most or Poritoka might still take so much out of him that he'll die anyway the next week. Still, it's worth it. And as to how to get his ghost to return to you....have you seen the Archives section entitled "Ghosts"? If you don't know about Ghosts in MR2, look there and you'll be pleasantly surprised (also, the death of a monster is necessary to unlock Wrackies and Mocks, so even if you can't manage to extend out his life, I'd suggest waiting until the key points in those events, and you'll have your Armor Dragon's spirit coming back for revenge...in the body of a tree, or an evil little doll).
