Just getting in the VCD thing here. I'm currently capturing video via DV input. Since DV resolution is 720x480, I have to go through an intermediary step before I compress the final file in LSX-MPEG. Since disk space is limited (isn't it always) I need to compress that intemediary file instead of dumping raw uncompressed video to disk. Right now I'm using Indeo v5.02 with quality set to 100%. The results are nice at this point, but I'm wondering if anyone has suggestion regarding a different compressor that would offer even better quality? Thanks...
