WEST HAM MEET THREAD

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Physically, mentally exhausted, so don't expect much coherence outta me right now. ;-)) Haven't yet read the other threads to see what's been said about the weekend, but before I forget...or fall asleep, important question..

Where and when are we meeting up for WHam? That pub at Liverpool St again? After being sat in the library section at Wembly(i seem to have a knack of finding the non-singing sections)...I expect an almighty roar from our lot weds night!!!

I'm off to suck down some more coffee. %-}

Hamilton Hall at Liverpool Street - any particular time? Coming across from West London through the throng of City types (bankers not those nice chaps from Manchester) on their way home sounds lovely.
Can't afford too many pints after the #31 they're charging for the tickets.....just 5 or 6 then.

Allison, I'm in the same Internet place as you but can't see you! I haven't abandoned you!!

was it not last year we got into some sort of CIU club - uptsairs as I recall.

Lost my voice due to a cold. Got a couple of Aussies out for their first toon match. It's gonna be interesting what ever.

Probably in the region of HH at 6 - depending on meeting up with Mr and Mrs True in Uxbridge.

-- Anonymous, April 11, 2000

What time are you all leaving the HH for the game? Probably won't make it, as I meeting up elsewhere first, but might catch sight of some of you at Upton Park.

Any post match venues arranged?

Does anyone know if we can get into that place by the ground? It was great craic last year. Mebbes head out there after HH?

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

No probs. Any witty and original ditties to wind up the Hammers flying around yet?

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

he is just a wee little wee little hammer his clothes are all tattered and torn etc.....

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

Sting,

Leave that one alone :))

Shame Shaka's injured - I always like having an ex-Toon goalie for a bit of jovial banter during one half, especially if the action's all at the other end where it should be. Still, Pearce might get a game, and I'm sure he can't venture far from the goal line these days, cos it would mean him having to run back ;-)

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

Windy,

But if the action is not at Shaka's end then we are under the kosh?!

I know what you mean though, good to see the ex-toons and I'm sure most of them would come walking back into Bobby Robson's Wonderland soon enough.

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

Ahh. You spotted the deliberate mistake DeBuilder ;-). Do you really think I'm that stupid?

Exit Windy, red-faced and crawling under his desk, once again wondering what the f@~k he was thinking of. The rose-tinteds of the pre-Keegan era I suppose, when it was often the only limited entertainment on offer.

Dougal and I are in NL2, row W. Will be at HH sometime between 5-530p. I just hope every Mag going tonight is ready to put forth an almighty roar for the lads. Nonstop singing to show em how proud we are of them!

HOWAY THE LADS!!

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

HH for six then, I've gotta waite for two guests though plus Sue of course.

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

I'm not going tonight unfortunately but we should repay West Ham for charging #31 a ticket by lifting their shoddy little roofs off their shoddy little stadium.

HOWAY THE LADS, HOWAY THE LADS,

-- Anonymous, April 12, 2000

aaarghh im gutted!

thought it wud be easy to get a ticket for the game but the club says theres no away tickets left!!!!
