Members of Clinton's Helicopter Crew Among Crash Victims
UPI

Investigators on Sunday scoured a small Arizona airport outside Tucson trying to determine why one of the Pentagon's futuristic MV-22 Osprey aircraft crashed, killing19 Marines, four of whom were assigned to the squadron that operates the presidential helicopter.
The tilt-rotor Osprey -- which is designed to take off vertically, hover like a helicopter, and then reach airplane-like speeds of up to 400 miles per hour -- crashed and exploded Saturday night during a training exercise at Avra Valley Airport about 25 miles northwest of Tucson. Officials at the scene said the MV-22 was one of two Ospreys taking part in the exercise. It crashed nose-first into the ground and exploded on impact, engulfing the aircraft in flames. The investigation is being handled by the military.
Four of the victims -- two pilots and two co-pilots -- were assigned to Helicopter Squadron One in Quantico, Va., The squadron operates Marine One, the helicopter used by the president. White House spokesman Joe Lockhart said it was unlikely any of the Marines aboard the Osprey were Marine One crewmen.
President Clinton, while en route Sunday to Fayetteville, Ark., called the commanders of the Marines assigned to Helicopter Squadron One. Lockhart said, "(Clinton) told all four how saddened he and the first lady were to hear of this tragic training accident and he asked them to pass their condolences and acknowledge just how dangerous these operations can be."
The Osprey is being developed as a workhorse vehicle to be used by the Marines, Navy and Air Force. Operated by a crew of four, it can transport up to 24 people or 15,000 pounds of cargo. It can be modified for reconnaissance, search-and-rescue or special forces operations. The Marine Corps is to receive the lion's share of the aircraft, of which 350 are scheduled to be produced in the coming years, by 2013. The first production version of the MV-22 and the prototype V-22 both landed with great ceremony on the Pentagon lawn last fall. "The (Osprey) represents a design that combines efficiency with flexibility; it provides greater survivability so that our pilots and airmen can return home safely," Secretary of Defense William Cohen said at the time. "The V-22 is going to cut our response times from weeks down to days and days down to hours."
The Osprey is built by a joint venture of Boeing and Bell Helicopters Textron. The Navy was scheduled to evaluate four Ospreys between October 1999 and May 2000. Successful completion of those evaluations would lead to a full-rate production decision in the fall of 2000. Boeing said the Osprey completed sea trials with the Navy in August.

Workin for Hill and Billary is just like a death sentence!

ROTFLMAO!

I have read the list of deaths attributed to Clinton. I also did not see any footnotes on any of the reports I read. WHERE"S THE BEEF?

What did these marines do to get on Clinton's death list??

I just do not believe in conpiracies that are this big. This is the main reason I did not buy into the doomsday scenario of Y2K-There was just no way all of the world's banks, for instance, could have been on the same page at the same time in propagating a false, feel-good message. It is also the same reason I am skeptical about chem-trails- It just makes no sense that there could be a conspiracy of this magnitude, and that there would not be one whistle-blower.

Please, please, oh anti-clintonites, provide us with the list of convictions of president clinton for conspiracy to murder. Short of that, you have nothing but circumstantial evidence. I do not care if you have an encyclopedia of circumstantial evidence-it is still CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence, at best-at worst the allegations are sheer lunacy.

I would hope in this country I would not be convicted of a crime on purely circumstantial evidence.

Ah, Futureshock, check with ANY prosecutor. they would RATHER have a case of circumstantial evidence as it is VERY difficult to get this type of evidence confused, or to get it to change.

eyewitness accounts of events tend to be so easily impeached, ask ANY lawyer which he would rather do:

Defend an eywitness case or prosecute a circumstantial evidence case and he'll tell youthat it's a tossup. Offer him the option of prosecuting ot defending an eyewitness case he'll pick defending most of the time.

Or so my Jones Day clients say.

Chuck:

My initial reply may have been too simplistic; I certainly understand the unreliability of eyewitnesses, but what I am looking for in the clinton hit list is hard evidence; Most of the list has this kind of logic: they were associated with Clinton and they died sometime after a particular event happened.

There is a lot of heresy and references to covered-up autopsy reports, sealed cases, etc., but we are nor presented with any hard evidence. Chuck, you do know that there are many ways of building a prosecutors case, and the evidence is everything. I want hard evidence in these cases and links to that evidence. Until then the hit-list belongs on sightings.com and nowhere else.
