I have a dvd player yamakawa 713. Can it play cd-r? And if it can, which kind of file do I need to record it on so that the dvd could recognise it? THANK YOU!!!!

I think your DVD player is the same as the Raite 713. If so, it will play CD-R. You just need some software, like Adaptec EZ CD Creator to master VCDs to CD-R.
