"I was right" C(ombes) begat "my sources tell me that the embedded systems problems in the refineries can't be fixed" which *lucked out* as a rationale for the Weird Set when OPEC put the screws to the world for higher prices. After 1/1/2000, that was the last line of defense for the Banshees of Y2k Weirdness and Hype.

"Refined" it takes the form that Yourdon, the 35 year "don't tell me I know what I know" expert of "some of the refinery problems after 1/1/2000 may have well been y2k problems but ...." (Hint, Snicker, Snicker) "you will never know" (because "THEY" are all covering it up). Or what the De-bunkers long called the Quantum Y2k Effect, if you see it it can't be Y2k and if its Y2k you can't see it.

It follows that the fall of prices on news that OPEC had the Oil all the time sort of negates Mr. "I was Right" RC.

But Combes begat some of the other lesser scams like the *C4i Committee* of cut and paste and even stranger types who have all since left the stage rather than answer the questions about "HEY, WHAT THE F......... HAPPENED?".

More importantly, the vile and disgusting attacks from the "R.C.s" upon exposure of their "other thoughts" created the *atmosphere* of hatred of anyone who dared challenge the Almighty Voice of RC.

NOW... Why should this matter to you and what is this relationship to your question??

The Original Biblical Hebrew term for SAMSON is the word "SHIM SHOWN"...or "Shim-shown"

Now, if you're not a Hebrew scholar... you can take that reference #... go to your local library and ask for those two lexicons listed above... look up...that reference # -- 8123... If you go to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the King James Version of the Bible and go to the back of the book to the Hebrew Dictionary...find that word ... It will tell you it is from a root word #8121-- Shemesh or shamesh... "from an unused root, 'to be brilliant'... i.e. the sun; by implication the east. figuratively: a ray, i.e. the arch or a notched battlement."

Now... Both lexicons will pretty much say the same thing but Brown-Driver-Briggs (B-D-B) adds also the following... "a pinnacle, as glittering, shining; or as referenced in Isaiah 54:12... 'I will make your battlements of rubies, thy pinnacle or battlements of Zion'"

Psalm 84:11 ... the word is used also as a "shield"... see the New American Standard

Bible...

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield".

The word can reference the sun or a brilliant light... and its secondary usage of meaning is that of a battlement or shield... such as in the Psalm 84:11 reference.

Now... the Hoagland contact referred to Project Samson. Hoagland thought it was a reference to a Babylonian sun-god Shamesh... I contacted Hoagland to say that I think in reality...

Looks to me like the price of crude is down $8.00 a barrel from its recent high. Most people in the country are seeing gas prices coming down, but it's not going to go back to the same level it was a year ago.

To all, I am amazed at the underhanded and despicable manner in which these destructive trolls have now conducted themselves. They have achieved new lows in savagery. They've attempted to destroy me and my work and not just posting here at TB2K. They also have demonstrated that they can't correctly investigate the facts before leaping to conclusions. But I need to set the record straight and demonstrate why these "Pollies" are not to be trusted. First of all, no one's personal religious views has a thing to do with a secular factor like Y2K. What we have here is another example of Political correctness carried over into the theological realm. But let me set the record straight on so many other points. I saw blatant, libelous mischaracterization, and misrepresentation from the start. Let's start from the top.

My email was always valid, unlike those of my detractors. My theological views were kept out of the Y2K debate as they are truly OT for such a forum as this. The Pollies would now attempt to make it On Topic. I resist such a notion. My views though, are as valid as any views the rest of you may have, whether it be Christian, Jewish, Agnostic, Atheistic, Islamic or whatever. Ironically though, the notion of TEOTWAWKI is in complete contradiction to my views. I never promoted TEOTWAWKI. But they would have you the reader believe that I was the leader of doomism. A 5 to 7 is the most that I assigned to Y2K, far from TEOTWAWKI. I never said the oil industry would collapse, though I said that if certain events occurred it might so damage the industry that it might take 10 years to recover to 1999 levels. Premised upon a possible collapse at rollover.

I ALSO NEVER PROMOTED MY THEOLOGY here on this forum. I have not tried to make any money from Y2K in any way. Neither did I try to promote a book here for profits. Frankly, my 256 page book had 2 printings and did rather well during its run but is now out of print. The distributors are now out of stock. Thus it was totally off base and out of bounds for this forum. Now, the Polly Trolls have raised the issue. But a Y2K forum is NOT the place to discuss these issues rationally.

Frankly the Trolls have gone far out of bounds on this. They have victimized one too many times. Their destruction deserves prosecution. It's gonna cost me to rebuild my website not to mention the time involved. Plus I don't even do webmastering.

It's an outrage in what these people have perpetrated here not only upon myself but upon many others. I realize SYSOPS have their hands tied. There is nothing that they could do. I hope the Feds and other law enforcement officials will finally be able to come forward and apprehend and prosecute these people for the crimes that they have committed. I wish there were some way to ban them from access to this forum. I know other software forums have such capabilities, it might have helped stop this nonsense a long time ago if it were employed back then.

I've attempted to provide meaningful dialogue and helpful information. For my efforts I have been smeared and libeled maliciously. LOL. I don't even need to post any more. Why the hell am I even spending the time when I already said the same thing two months ago and can just sit still while someone dredges up the posts? I must admit, however, that I was pretty surprised at the dates on the RC thread. THAT was only two months ago?

I will say one thing about RC -- he started and added to many stimulating philosophical conversations on the TB2000 forum in the past. And he did that without bringing up his religious beliefs.
