I'm in the process of setting up a decent chat room on my site, I've been offered two, what do you think of this one? info chat room which has no link! obciously it's not going to be popular at first but it will get going especially (hopefully on match days). It's the people who make a chat room, just like it's the people who make this board what it is

Hmmm, if it's just logging onto an irc server, it's probably faster for those with irc clients(like mIRC) to go in directly rather than via browser. We'd just have to know what server is being used and the name of the room. Also if there is any password. IRC is great in that it doesn't require a browser, is usually fast(unless the server gets jammed) and doesn't need java or any other applet.
