As everyone knows by now, Sanna and Magnus are back "home" in Sweden. This afternoon I took a look at their Swedish club's informal rankings. Here is what I found.

Magnus has moved up from 27th to 19th. The move has something to do with good results at a recent relay race (I guess Magnus learned a thing or two about relay orienteering when he ran for the OK team!). No one else moved up that many places.

Sanna also moved up (based in part on a good run at the same relay race). Sanna's ranking went from 19 to 13. No other woman moved up as many places! Whoever does the rankings commented that Sanna is "fast, but not when she has to orienteer by herself" [as opposed to orienteering in a pack at a relay].

Latests "rankings" for IF Thors men are out. Magnus has dropped one place (from 19 to 20) and gets the comment -- "has not yet shown his full capacity." Obviously, the person who does IF Thor's rankings recognizes that, as an OKer, Magnus has a lot more to show.

While not training or traveling to meets what is Magnus up to these days?

I think Magnus is working as a school teacher (maybe at the junior high level?).

There are now indications that Sanna may be Ordförande for IF Thor orienteering.

Mook, you are right. Sanna has taken over the club ("ordfoerande" means "president"). Check out the discussion page thread at:
