This is something I have spent a great deal of time thinking about... have messed around with different religions and faiths to see if anything felt ..."right"... so far nothing has... Taoism and Wicca came close but failed to meet the mark... Taoism on one level because of its views.... and also not Taoism for its views... most particularily its views on women... Wicca... well... for a religion that preaches that there is not "right way" to worship, I found that there were definitely too many people wanting to control the way that I could pay hommage... so I left that one behind... as to what i actually believe... there are two forces that I believe in... Mother Nature... her evidence is around us every day... and to a lesser extent, the fates... I think that there are predestined paths and oads... but for every one, there are alternate paths that we must chose or not to chose to follow...

i was raised Christian... but since i was 16, i totally "lost my religion". i do not believe in the "christian" god/jesus. sometimes i believe there is no higher power at all. sometimes i believe the higher power is just a collective consciousness of living and dead living things from the universe. what i do believe in is people. i believe in what i can see, smell, taste, hear, and feel. i believe that there may be a "life force" somewhere, but it is in a different dimension from where we all live here on earth. but i believe, no matter who you are, what religion you are, you should always try and do good to others.

The existance of The Deity has been self evident to me since my first days of awareness.

I have been unable to accept being put into a box with a label and number on it. Each denomination that trys to tell me that I am damned to Hell because I don't believe exactly as they do is also I think, a means to demonstrate that someone has not learned. I believe that you witness by example not by flapping your mouth of a street corner or knocking on doors. I hate to sit in a congregation of people who are at odds with each other but put on a smiley face for the sermon.

I also believe that some things are mysteries we are unable to understand on this plane and that acceptance of that fact should keep down this conflict of views. But my guess is that it won't.
