It was good to see D.McCarron could recognize and appreciate the difference between Millwrights and Carpenters.He seemed to be well versed as to the needs of the different trades,recognizing that we are different but understanding that our needs are the same is something that we really need to think about.As tradesmen and as people alike.That kind of philosophy can go a long way.Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you for your opinion. Clearly our mutual interests as working people mandates that we join together where our interests coincide. If trade unionism has one great lesson it is that the forces arrayed against us will exploit any division among us. Mc Carrons message resonates with the understanding that tensions among us serve to weaken our position. That shows a refreshing insight and vision.

Yes,we are different but we must stick together.As a millwright we must work toward subsistence.So when we are out of town working we can take more money home with us.In the late seventies the mill- wrights allmost made as much money.
