I have read all the reviews about the pre-production 990's and have ready many more about production 950's. My concern is that there seems to be either a design problem with the distance focusing or quality control of focusing mechanism of the lens that affects distance focusing. I am very concerned about this and am holding off my pre-order of a 990 until I see some new reviews of production 990's that say this has been fixed. Please say that this is being seriously addressed. I will be forced to buy a competitor's product if the 990 has this problem as I like to shoot landscapes.
