Perfect happiness

If you could spend a year in perfect happiness but afterward would remember nothing of the experience, would you do so? If not, why not?

Hell's yes. I've never spent a year in perfect happiness before.

Of course, I'm not sure if so-called "perfect happiness" can exist if I know it is only for a year.

I'd do all the things on my list of things I wanted to do, and I'd keep a detailed journal so I could at least read about the fascinating experiences that I would have had but didn't remember. I'd do crazy things, like collect snails, and ... oh, just spontaneous whatever that struck me at the moment. Anyway. I'll shut up now.

No. What is the point in doing something that makes you happy if you can't look back on it when your sad to cheer you up?

No. In theory, it sounds wonderful, but what happens after that year? I mean, you just lost a whole entire year. Do you not remember the friendships you made? And for a year to be perfectly happy, I'd most likely be in a relationship. Do I lose that too? I just don't think it's something I'd want to try.
