Apparently Bill Gates and his MSN/Encarta Crew have decided to reinterpret the Second Amendment for future generations.

Not the first time. In the 80s Bill Gates was famous for the line "A Personal Computer on every desk running Microsoft Software." Once the whole anti-trust issue popped up in the 90s they changed the Encarta quote to "A Personal Computer on every desk".

And, naturally, there is no (easy) way to find an e-mail address to correct and protest their manipulation of the meaning. Fuck Microsucks and Billy-boy and his mother in the ass. (Let's see if this is really uncensored.)

Would someone *please* post an email to Microsoft Corp., or to their consumer products department, or their public relations line or their help line or to any address where one could send an email.

From Encarta:

"The Second Amendment protects the right of the people to own weapons as members of state militias."

From the Constitution:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

You decide.

Gilda,

Here's a link to Microsoft's message boards - perhaps you'll get somewhere with that...

This is what encarta states about the second ammendment.

"The Second Amendment protects the right of the people to own weapons as members of state militias."

Talk about latitude with interpretation, what a joke.

A,

Welcome

Gilda,

Wish I could have given you a better answer, however, with my past luck with Microsoft :-(, the link to their message boards/chat sites is the best I could do. Perhaps someone who uses MSN as their ISP will have some 1-800 #'s that you can use - Lord knows that their webpages never list any (free) useful e-mail addy's...

Gates has enough time manipulating the American public - it's time he was brought down to size... I only hope that the Gov't can "chip away" at him, like they did Ma Bell back in the 80's. Good luck to you, really.

Lotsa luck finding an e-mail address for Microsucks that goes to a real person instead of, at best, an automated responder. Microsucks can't be bothered with input from us unwashed masses.

Come on Linux! Come on Corel!
