Local news provided by: Metro NetworksTense Moments Felt At Airport There were some tense moments yesterday at Tampa International Airport. U-S Airways Flight 220 bound for Pittsburgh was backing away from the terminal when a flight attendant saw what appeared to be a fire in the engine. Officials say it apparently backfired. Smoke and a small flame could be seen from inside the plane, alarming some of the passengers. The pilot told them to stay seated, but the flight attendant opened the door and emergency chutes. There was one minor injury as the passengers left the plane. Officials from U-S Airways say it was best to err on the side of caution.
