Little Timmy's TemperTantrum

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I-695 Thirty Dollar License Tab Initiative : One Thread

Go home and cry to mamma!

I cant tell you how many times we said that 695 was poorly worded and that it would get struck-down in a heart-beat. Its your fault for listining to a bunch of yes-men lawyers!

Remember that 695 cruise-missile Craig? Just like I said: A DUD (just like its founder)

"The Judge's decision was politically modivated" (Eyeman yesterday)

When is a Judge's decision NOT politically modivated? When he/she votes with your Bias? When you "like" his/her decision?

I challenge anyone in this forum to empirically prove that Tim's statement is true. (And no, where the judge resides is not proof)

What is it about you people that makes you want to turn so much money over to the government? I just don't get it. Are you so afraid of taking care of yourself, and not having the government do it for you?

Absolutely incredible. Is it constitutional for us to pay 20% or 30% of everything we make to the federal government, then a bunch more to the state, county, and local governments? What kind of freedom is that? What kind of citizens are you that are not outraged at this kind of legalized highway robbery? Wouldn't you like to keep some of your hard-earned money for yourself?

Mr. Yeager,

The roads cost money to make & maintain. Schools cost money. Health and human services cost money. The military costs money. It costs money to manage these things. Real people that work at these jobs deserve a fair income just like you and I do. I guess you could live on a deserted island somewhere and not pay any taxes.

Don't be an a$$. There is plenty of money already coming in. How much do you want the government to have? By the way, you're a government employee, aren't you Funk?

-- Martin Yeager (myeager10@aol.com), March 15, 2000.

Martin;

ONE good thing came from the judges decision. That is that the socialists in the transit unions will have spent a Ton of money uselessly to defeat the excise tax portion of 695. They have that much less money to spend this fall to elect more tax addicts to the legislature.

There is NO WAY that the excise tax will be reinstated.

Hey funkentwit...... the only thing that really costs money is the bloated an useless programs that are populated by useless people who work for the government.... some people like you )are just to mentally deficient to underswtand things like that

When Gary Locke gets re-elected I bet you a buck that he reinstates

the MVET

-- dave Archer (davarc@premier1.net), March 15, 2000.

Which is precisely why he shouldn't be re-elected. And no amount of damage control on his part will subdue the anger of those of us who are fed up with being taxed to support BS.

-- Marsha (acorn_nut@hotmail.com), March 15, 2000.

Kind of a lame bet since Locke wouldn't be able to reinstitute the MVET without the authorization of the legislature.

-- Patrick (patrick1142@yahoo.com), March 15, 2000.

Lame Bet??

Have Marsha put down, and I'll bet against her! Now that there's some shweeet action, baby!!

I just see good odds on me winning a bet...how does that make me a sick puppy, Marsha?

Go ahead, put a dollar on yer horsey (Locke) bringing back MVET...I dare ya

Sick puppy Nate,

Please show me where I offered to bet anyone? You need to work on those reading/comprehension skills.
