Just found a note on Amazon about a new book:

Coming into Focus: A Step-by-Step Guide to Alternative Photographic Printing Processes

by John Barnier (Ed.)

Amazon states the book is to be published in August, and a different web shop says it's ready for mailing. (They are definitely not talking about an older edition; I checked that.) Has anyone already gotten hold of this book, and if so: What are your comments?

No, but I found another book at Silverprints homepage. The internet summary of the book is an excellent introduction to the history and procedure of "old-style" print making. "Spirits of salts" by Randall Webb and Martin Reed.
