What do YOU feel secure about? (Oh, and note the address for the new mirror site for NOVA NOTES, http://www.moderngypsy.com/decajour/journal.htm ---at least until Nashville Exchange gets their act together.)--Al

My relationship with my husband. My faith in God. The love in my family. I have several REALLY good friends that I feel security in knowing.

I feel secure about my inner strength. I've gone through a lot of things, and any time I feel like it's too much for me to handle, I just take a look back at some of the things i've lived through.
I also put a lot of faith in an idea taught to me by a friend of mine (who singlehandedly has pulled me out of crises for the past two years - he's some kind of saint): Is this the worst thing you've ever been through? If it's not, then don't worry. You'll be fine, you've seen worse. If it is, then you have two choices: either you figure a way out of it, or you don't. And the second one really isn't an option.
