Are there any software drivers to play VCDs on PC DVD hardware? If so, can you give some pointers/addresses to visit/download/order..

Sundara, the DVD ROM usually comes together with a mpeg decoder card. If you tell us the brand of this card it should be easy to find the drivers. You can find the brand by: Press Win.key+Pause key, click on Device manager, and then on "Video,Sound, game devices (or sthg.like that). The brand of the decoder should be listed there. Then bet a www.foundbrand.com and you're on the way.

If, on the contrary, there is no mpeg card, there's nothing you can do about it. Just stick to media player v.6.4.// Good luck!
