And another thing about the spamming stock doc

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

The terms of use of this forum state quite clearly "refrain from spamming".

Yet the spamming stock doc decided to try to slip in under the radar by lacing his spam for his COMMERCIAL SITE with an offer for YADG (Yet Another Discussion Group).

No different from sending spam with a "coupon" attached. Except for the stock pumping angle.

Give it a rest, Charles. Why don't you go over to The Camp and kick Vern around for awhile.

I guess the apropriate response to that would be "up yours".

Chuck,

Why are you so bent about this spam guy? Isn't he gone yet?

No, it'd be "up his," and it looks like you took Bigmouth's advice.

I dunno. I guess I just don't appreciate penny stock pumpers. I don't like scams. I hate telemarketers. I detest spammers. I don't like seeing the naive stripped of their hard-earned scratch.

Perhaps it's because I have three teens, Charles [I must learn to stop thinking that, as my oldest will be 21 this month], but MOST folks understand that when a compliment comes our way for no APPARENT reason, we stand at the ready for the pitch that follows. This guy throwing his compliment of the forum [immediately followed by his pitch] in NO way differs from one of my teens approaching me saying "I love you, mama." I wait for the pitch when this happens out of the blue. If it doesn't come, the thought was sincere.....unless the pitch comes TOMORROW. [grin]

I found the threads on this firm interesting [in particular the association with Caton], but I really don't think there's a need to pursue this as though everyone here were so naive as to not recognize that the guy wants folks to invest in his firm.
