WIRE:03/08/2000 09:19:00 ET Germany suspends Sellafield nuclear fuel shipments BERLIN, March 8 (Reuters) - The German Environment Ministry said on Wednesday it was suspending shipments of MOX nuclear fuel shipments fron Britain's Sellafield after it emerged safety documents at the reprocessing plant had been falsified.

"The import ban will be valid for as long it can be established without doubt that all required safety standards are maintained in Sellafield," it said of the plant owned by state-owned British Nuclear Fuels Ltd (BNFL).
