The way to handle Lisa at work?.... is to simply ask what flavor of BBQ sauce she prefers to treat her hair roots to?

Besides she is protected by an Edict I issued long ago so if anyone is going to "pick on" her, its gwine be MOI.

Laura, perhaps you don't know but Lisa fell under the "protected classes" described in the Fair Housing Regulations which prevents exclusion or prejudice against *minorities* a term the Doomzies never would deny through 1999.

Since it was clear that she was a member of a minority (the Doom Zombies), Lisa B. was chosen by me as the TOKEN MEME and forever labeled "MEMETTE".

While the worst fate of all for the typical Doom Jockey (Jockette) is to be *ignored*, we did not even leave ourselves open to those charges and treated her with equal amounts of scorn and derision mostly with the statement, "you must be joking".

In a clear demonstration of her "intemperance", she foolishy entered into a wager with me on the outcome of Y2k impacts.

The stakes?? If she was wrong, she would allow me to pour BBQ Sauce over her head.

Later, using the tactics she ascribed to those she called the employees of the Rendon Group(a small PR firm in D.C.), she tried to *weasel* her way out of the bet claiming we hadn't "established the terms" (even though she knew privately that I would never to such a thing to a "goil" instead I assigned my rights to someone closer to her workplace who I can assure you has no such chivalrous tendencies).

I satisfy myself post 1/1/2000 by watching MEMETTE in clear denial of what has happened and knowing that she is probably the only Doomzie Pessimist in the process of building a new house while she tools around in a classic beach bunny car that on its best day gets 12 miles per gallon and probably eats 2 quarts of oil per 100 miles.

What Lisa is doing is "kicking the anthill": Truly, that is what all of this y2k debate has been about anyhow, and most posters engage in it. Her goal is to get reactions out of people, plain and simple. That's what makes this forum more interesting. While some might dislike posters such as Lisa and Hawk, they are fun to laugh at and inject some diversity into the forum, rather than listening to the lemmings singing the same company tune over at the New and Disproved TB2000 CrazyBoard.
