Then I'll be labeled a trouble-maker right?

WHY would you want to watch the ballots being counted? Are you a professional scrutinizer?

Depends on your voting precinct.

I would welcome you with open arms. After opening the Township Building at 6:30am and being open 13 hrs, we get to accurately count the paper ballots. We have a small precinct and are usually done by 9:30pm. Other areas in the county are often counting until 2am. We are all concerned about our alertness and accuracy after a long day.

So, if you would be good enough to come watch the votes being counted in Pleasant Valley Twp., Potter County, Pennsylvania on April 4th, I'll send directions.

No corruption. Just 5 tired ladies partially revived by the pizza my husband brings at 5pm.

Y2KPro,

Maybe he/she doesn't trust that they will be counted correctly. The party machines(both Republican and Democrat) know all the tricks on how to get things done, a lot of it behind the scenes. They get away with what they do at least partly because the people are too trusting.

Be there watching the ballots being counted, INever. Labeling is a tactic that should not deter you.

the voting station is real close by. maybe i'll "mosey" on down in my slippers & be the last one to vote & at least watch for a few minutes..... it's common knowledge that some elections around here....like the football stadium vote....are, uhhh, rigged.
