So it's the day to get your hair trimmed if you want to grow it long. I keep hearing from women with lovely long hair that they always have it trimmed on the new moon, and that they spray it with a mixture of essential oil of rosemary and water to keep from getting split ends. Are you doing any special stuff because of the new moon today?

Yes, I'm going to take my monthly shower. :-)I didn't know that about the hair, do you think it really works? I trim mine on my own. Whenever it starts getting in my eyes, I know it's time. Gonna hunt down some of that oil of rosemary!

Uh....Sis:I heard from a verified unreliable source [which would be my 86-year old mother] that you do NOT get your hair cut during the full moon because it won't grow. I've heard this ALL my life from her.
[I never believed anything else she said either.]

Uh Anita, did you think that New Moon = Full Moon?hint: they're not the same thing. ps. I bet your hair grows even if you get a trim on a fullmoon day, but was curious about the new moon thing affecting hair, since it does seem to affect farmers' yields from their crops.

Sis:Yep....well, I KNEW the NEW moon wasn't the FULL moon, but I READ new moon and THOUGHT full moon. Thanks for pointing that out.
