Does anyone have any references to papers studying the effects of modern urban environments upon consciousness - anything correlating mental illness with poor archetecture, or certain sorts of housing ?

I am looking for the same effect of urbanisation. I am a film student and my next project deals with location and human behaviour. I want to concentrate on the influences of urban environments on people.

I have found something in this direction in YAHOO>PSYCHOLOGY>BRANCHES>ENVIRONMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY

Maybe you will find something there. I will go on searching and tell you if I find something. Could you also tell me if you find something? I am grateful for every hint.
