Information found at John Hopkins Medical Center indicates that this may have its roots in a slow growing bacteria. research link at: www.intelihealth.com/enews?239061

Other sites for information on chronic fatigue, gulf war syndrome are: www.intelihealth.com/ipn/ihtIPN?t=7225&r=EMIHC000 http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct/gui http://www.vnh.org http://www.trufax.org/menu/gulf.html http://www.sunflower.org/~cfsdays/cfsfiles.htm http://www.gulfwarvets.com/hot.htm

Interesting.

I've heard references to aspartame poisoning (from cans of diet soda left sitting in high temperatures).

might check out this sight. This DR has fibromyalgia herself. I have had FM and CFIDS for years. There are good days and their are bad days. Some Drs don't even believe in the diseases. Know that of the number of Korvokian(sp) assisted suicides, at least 3 were FM? CFIDS patients.

Taz...who knows from long experience that no two patients are the same thus no two treatments can be the same. You have to ferret out what works for you, as I have. And it takes a lot of time and energy...energy that most of us with CFIDS don't have. And don't count of miracle cures from the Drs. So many Drs that are treating these syndromes are nothing but snake oil peddlers. BEWARE of Drs who sell supplements, etc., out of their offices. You can most likely bUy the same stuff elsewheres for one tenth the price.
