Paging SYSMAN...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

No, not looking for an"I told you so".

And I'm heading to bed for the night.

But if you're around, I think a discussing the aftermath of Y2k might be in order. God know, we butted heads a few times in the past. But, of any "doomer", my imnpression was you were at least pretty sincere in your opinions.

More than anything, probably just looking to support the effort made to start this forum. I had basically stopped posting, and would have remained that way, except for recent "events".

Later, y'all.

Hi Hoff.

I'm still here, but not very often these days. Work has been keeping me pretty busy lately, plus I don't have much to say about the election (that hasn't been said already), and that seems to be the "topic of the day" here recently. I haven't checked in here for several days, so I was surprised to see this thread.

You know Hoff, you were always one of my favorite pollys. While we were on opposite ends of the scale, I always respected your opinion. We were always able to have a conversation, without the name calling and kindergarten level nonsense that often occured on the old forum.

I don't like to "fight" with people. After Y2K, I managed to "make up" with many of my former "enemies". I didn't have to make up with you Hoff. You were right, I was wrong, and I think we both accepted that, and let it go at that.

After several exchanges, I even managed to "sorta" make up with Andy Ray. We didn't accept each other, but basicly agreed to stay out of each other's way. I was very disappointed to see that he is causing trouble here again. I really don't understand.

I hope this forum doesn't close, but if it does I really can't blame OTFR. It looks like she has found a new life. Perhaps we should all follow her lead.

And maybe, just maybe, a certain trouble maker will finally find a life.
