I thought the cover lead-in was misleading. I believe the articles on the 30's are what the editor felt addressed "why you can't find..." I didn't see anything else that seemed to relate remotely to the questions on the front cover.

I'm still waiting for our issue to come!!!

My issue came but didn't have much of interest in it. Mostly seems to be trying to justify Y2K articles.

I too was disappointed with the March/April 2000 issue. I've become so accustomed to more "meat" per issue than this one had to offer. Guess since it was JD's last one, they're saving the good stuff for the first issue under the new editor.

I haven't got mine yet!!! I INHALE my issue within three hours of getting it, and then sit in wait for the next one for the following two months!!!

I'm disappointed that the comments aren't positive. When I get a "slim" issue, I get a bit down. My husband and I are working towards our move to rural living, and my mags are what keep me going!!!

Does anyone know of any good "all round" sources of info (i.e., books, websites) on GETTING to the country? I'm looking specifically for planning info?
