We can do some of it right here. I have about 20 different heirloom tomatoes, a sunflower I developed (up to 40 flowers per plant) and an heirloom squash (Thelma Sanders Sweet Potato Squash, which is delicious, in danger of extinction, and looks a bit like a tan acorn, a little elongated). I am not looking for seeds, except perhaps other heirloom tomatoes, but would truly love a recipe for really CRUNCHY canned dill pickles. I'll give you a list of tomatoes and will send them to you for a SASE (55 cents). Good Luck!

The magazine had both a seed swap and a penpals section when I started subscribing about 10 or 12 years ago. They dropped both because of "repercussions". I believe Countryside got sued by someone who got too close to the penpal they met through the magazine, and people who were involved in the seed swap were often swamped with requests. I liked both sections though, and miss them.

I will be happy to swap! Email me your list of wants and what you have.
