Source for tobacco seedsgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
I would like to find a source for a number of different varieties of tobacco seeds. I know that you can buy White Burley seed from Gurney's, but I would like to have an assortment of tobacco varieties. Does anyone know of a source? Thanks. Green

Living in Ky. where tobacco is grown commercially we have no trouble finding tobacco seed! All the farm stores carry it here. If you live close to a Southern States Farm Store if they don't have it, perhaps they can order it for you. Is is expensive, around $10 for a little pack but contains enough seed for well over an acre of tobacco.

Redwood City Seeds sells tobacco seeds and a pamphlet about growing tobacco. Their website address,if I remember, is a complicated one. Do a search for Redwood City Seeds or heirloom seeds. If you don't find it, I could look through my stuff and probably come up with an address. E-mial me if you need it.
