Emergency landing at Sea-Tac

SEATAC, Feb. 26 - There were a tense few minutes at Sea-Tac Airport Saturday afternoon when an MD-80 jet made an emergency landing. The American Airlines jet reported electrical problems. Immediate details were sketchy, but the MD-80 landed safely just before 3 p.m.

Thanks Carl.

The evening non-news [BCTV] showed some scruffy character jabbering about y2k.....didn't quite get the whole jist as I had to look around the corner to see when I heard MD-80.

TV news... what a marvel of irritation.

Oooooh baby, this one has got Y2K written all over it! I'm sure the airlines want to keep details as "sketchy" as possible, because they don't dare mention computer problems. I have a feeling that several more planes full of people are going to die due to "unspecified" problems before the truth starts to be uncovered.

HAWK, Come on...you don't really believe the truth is going to be exposed from the lips of the government...they'll find some way to sweep it under the rug...even if a thousand planes go down...it is going to be swept under their dirty little carpets... Americans are used to being lied to...thats why we don't do anything about it...its politically correct! Sort of like group sex in the oval office... and drug money in the pockets of the elite... its politically correct to lie... as long as you are good at it.

Hawk, I hope no one else does die, but admittedly, this is total weirdness.
