Frosty Pine

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nature Photography Image Critique : One Thread

Frost covered Austrian Pine in our frontyard taken same morning as "Snow on the Savanna" Nikon N70 24-120 zoom at 24mm. polarization. Film: Kodak EC200. Again, this image has an uneven polarization effect. The sky is rendered darker than the original due to scanning.

I like this photo also, especially the reddish tint added by the sunrise. Quit a different image from your earlier "Snow on the Savanna" which was almost entirely shades of white and blue.

I like the contrast in texture.

One more "bravo!" The pink light makes this one rather special, sort of warm and cold at the same time. I like the composition too.
