OT: We've got 12 months......so how about some other groups getting their own?

I am enjoying Black History month....I always learn so much. So how about a Native American month? Asian American month? Hispanic American month? I think we have them, but they are not as heavily endorsed as the others.... I am sure there are other groups we've left out.

A few threads back we were bemoaning our diversity. Well, I'd like to see more of it. I enjoy learning about my fellow citizens and as an ex-teacher...I can tell you how positively it affects the children.

And aren't the hispanic americans the largest growing "minority" population in the U.S.?
